I had the pleasure of working with Viktoriya Orlov as my nurse coach. The timing was perfect as I had been working on stream-lining my daily diet to a healthier fare. When Viktoriya came into my life, I was seeking information on fasting as a way to help my body function with greater ease. I wanted to improve digestion and gain greater clarity on how to make constructive changes. With Viktoriya’s help, I deleted certain foods, incorporated new foods, created a week-long menu focused on healthy changes, researched new recipes to incorporate, and placed focus on proper elimination in conjunction with good digestion. All of this to create a lighter, more digestible diet and more optimally running physical body. We explored the pros and cons of fasting, and Viktoriya sent me a number of informing videos on the topic. I was also given suggestions for how to incorporate appropriate exercise and breath work into my daily routine to promote better digestion. I found the suggestions given most helpful as I applied them. Working with Viktoria was easy and relaxed. She is pleasant, friendly and warm with a wonderful smile. In her presence, I felt comfortable to speak honestly. She listened and responded in a way that I knew I had been heard. It is so encouraging to work with someone who is present and listening. What was especially striking is Viktoriya’s understanding of how one’s thinking and emotions are directly tied to physical well-being. She truly understands the wholistic approach to health. It is a quality I deeply value. I would heartily recommend Viktoriya to family and friends seeking support in making changes to create better health. Her broader vision enables clients to connect the dots between healthy thinking, emotions and a healthy body. In this way, she empowers the
client. Truly, a gift.

Prior to working with my Nurse Coach Viktoriya, I felt totally overwhelmed. I couldn’t understand why I couldn’t get anything done. I kept getting interrupted and couldn’t catch up with everyday things like housework, regular exercise, or just read a book. It seemed like “life kept getting in my way”, preventing me from doing what I had to do and what I wanted to do. I couldn’t figure out what was “wrong with me?” Why was I procrastinating? During the sessions my Nurse Coach provided me with suggestions and resources. Her greatest gift to me was suggesting to go away from my “25 lines of TO DO LIST” and start a “ACCOMPLISHMENT LIST.” Wow! I was amazed of how much I really did accomplish each day. I just listed on that same piece of paper (a page for each day) everything I did as I did it. It was alot. Just not what was on the TO DO LIST. Anyway, seeing how much I was doing, gave me a huge feeling of relief! I felt like a heavy weight was lifted from my shoulders. I understood that there wasn’t anything “wrong with me”. I was tired because I was doing a lot, not because I was lazy or a procrastinator. Viktoriya also suggested to try breaking task down to smaller parts by setting a timer for 15 or 30 minutes and stop, stop when time went off. I realized that my nurse coach had guided me into a newer, “more positive” mindset and new habits that made my same tasks appear easier and achievable. I began to feel like “a little engine “instead of tired, old, useless woman. I still get tired, but Viktoriya reminded me that it is ok to rest or even take a nap, as well to ask for help. Now I write my accomplishments list and choose only one goal a day. At the end of the day, I review what I have done, including all big or little things like phone called, meal cooking, laundry, vacuuming etc. I would not consider them my accomplishments, before me working with Viktoriya. She also reminded me about gratitude journal. “Short and sweet, every evening write 3 things that I am grateful for today.” Since my experience with Nurse Coach Viktoriya, I worry less, see how much I really do daily, show gratitude and actually sleep better…AND I am happy again! Bottom line: I am working smarter and feeling better about myself.
Truly grateful, NJ, Great-grandma, Carolyn G.

My life, in personal, social and health areas, was already on the path to some positive changes before I started the nurse coaching sessions with Viktoriya. On the social and personal level, I decided to cut off almost all my social platforms. I look at my thoughts and actions as private things and I don’t think that I need to share them with anybody else. Also, I got to understand that I cannot change anybody, so I will accept them as people are. I knew that all the time, but a clear understanding came only recently. Also, I changed my diet dramatically and that became my new lifestyle. I feel much better since I made all these changes. I was not sure on what area to work in my sessions with Viktoriya, but after assessment that she did with me on our 1st session, I recognized some areas for improvement. The coaching session with Viktoriya helped me to understand some problematic things which I’ve had in my life since childhood. One of them is that from the very young age I was practicing enjoyment only from the end results in any projects I would have done, and not of the process itself. Often, that approach was creating anxiety, unsatisfied feelings, and from thought “I want to do it” switching to thought “I cannot wait when it will be done.” For the first time in my life, the switch to focus on the process enjoyment happened after the session. My only thought was “It feels so good to create something with your own hands.” I felt calm, satisfied and joyful from working on my project. I’m greatly appreciative to Viktoriya for helping me to understand that and bring it to my life! I would gladly recommend Viktoriya as Nurse Coach to any of my friends and family who is seeking support in making changes to create better health and lifestyle.

Before I started sessions with Viktoriya I felt very frustrated and anxious with my family members and myself. With Viktoriya’s help I made several improvements and achievements.
1.I achieved balance in my daily life with short and long term decisions.
2.My mental health being addressed through tools and direction which helped me step outside of
comfort zones and work through my fear of defeat and failing.
3.I overcame obstacles that hindered me from reaching my goals through accountability and motivation.
4.I establish a life vision that speaks to my purpose of working through what life may send my way.
I noticed that after finishing our sessions, my inner potential, personal growth came into another level of process and elimination of what works and what does not work to then modify to a place of my wellbeing to deal with others and life challenges. In working with Viktoriya I liked the most feelings of trust, authenticity, and transparency through conversations, dialogue, and interaction that helped me keep more attention on me yet to be recognized desired goals.
Here are the benefits from our sessions:
* finding peace
* being true to myself regardless of any family or outside relationship situations
* increase giving to those who may be in need (family, friends, people from church)
* creating a new positive mindset through meditation and prayer
* developing more gratitude through journaling the things I am grateful for
I would recommend Viktoriya as nurse coach to diverse and multicultural groups to include men, women, Hispanic non-Hispanic, Youth or Geriatric religious based communities.
Con amor,
Gracias siempre,

I am a Seventy-one-year-old widowed woman who is living alone. I have three grown children and four grandchildren. My life in the past was very busy taking care of my family and working full time. Since I have gotten older, I find myself not being so involved. Everyone is grown and busy with their work and family. My husband and parents are now deceased. I do maintain contact with my family, but it is not the same as everyday living with them. I have retired from my position of 34 years with the government. So, my everyday life has dramatically changed. I found my eating habits are very atrocious and I consume way too much sugar and junk food. I was also realizing I was beginning to feel the effects of being socially isolated. The coaching session with Viktoriya gave me someone to talk with outside my family who did not judge my behavior or how I was feeling. She was always pleasant, upbeat and very professional in her approach to our sessions. She always was prompt and very thorough in our meetings and with follow-up information on topics we discussed. We discussed what was bothering me the most and we set up some goals. We created a plan that had achievable and realistic actions that I could undertake to achieve improvement in my life. Example: I was using too much sugar, and, in the morning, I was using two packs of sugar in my coffee. I agreed to her suggestion to do only one pack. I have done this, and it is working out fine for me. In one month that small action alone has resulted in me using thirty less sugar packs. In a year that small action will be three hundred and sixty-five packs of sugar I use less. I have increased my water intake daily to at least forty ounces a day. My soda drinking is down to one can a day which I know some will say is bad for me and I know it is, but I was a five to six can a day Coke drinker. So, I am very happy with this. She has provided information on less processed foods and alternatives rather than refined sugar. I have been diagnosed with Sarcoidosis and I have AFIB. She has provided me with links for various breathing techniques that are being used to strengthen lung capacity. They have been very helpful. For the social isolation she gave me ideas for getting more active and involved with my community. We improved my eating habits by agreeing to cook for myself at least two times a week. I now find myself cooking almost every night having protein and vegetables. Sometimes when I am alone, I have a tendency to not want to cook because it is only me and she has made me aware that I am important and eating and taking care of myself is imperative. These are just a few things I am putting in writing. There are multiple helpful and insightful ideas she has supplied me with. Viktoriya helped me to set achievable goals and held me accountable in a very non-judgmental, encouraging and pleasant manner. I am very grateful for the time I have spent with her. It has been a very pleasant and productive venture for me, and I highly recommend her sessions for anyone who needs to accomplish improvement in their life.

I want to say thanks Viktoriya for working with me. Your work on my case has opened my eyes and helped me to have a clear view of what is in front of me. I realize that when I am confronted with an obstacle, all of my energy goes directly to that deterrent and when I have to focus on other tasks, I feel overwhelmed. This makes it very difficult for me to deal with issues efficiently, because my attention is split. In the past I have blamed myself for my shortcomings by telling myself that "I am not good enough!" or I see that someone else is better than me. Now, I look at it as a gauge to see where I am and where I want to be and take action to get there. Our coaching sessions helped me to set goals and take small action steps to address each of them. I loved how you were able to capture every detail of what was going on with me and we explored new opportunities and avenues to take in addressing these issues. You were attentive, knowledgeable, and sensitive. I love the way you held space in those moments of vulnerability. I would recommend anyone to you that needed help figuring out the next steps or phase of their life. Anyone for any reason. I thank you for your time, attention and support to my cause.
Blessings,
Linda Johnson BSN-RN, Nurse Coach
